From the DVD - Love*Rulz Patience*
I have chosen the path of poet*, yet it weighs inward and outward as having chosen*me, bringing both sight and insight, opening raw truth and exposing common lies, drowning my spirit with persistent tears, flooding my heart with giving love, filling my soul with gracious beauty, overwhelming my being with incomparable compassion*,
I hear the rain but it knows I’m listening, completely, and so it sings a siren’s melody of timeless creation and patients known only to Her*, I see the light playing among the shadows, I feel it soaking the very essence of life’s energy into all it touches, and the light knows I’m watching, completely, and so it play’s teasingly and exuberantly around me, offering universal truths and visions which dangle like carrots on the end of waving sticks, each promising a chance at the brass*ring, but there is no completion for the poet*, only the endless circle, a path of words birthed and cut from a soul who knows all to well that each stroke upon the unforgiving blank parchment draw’s the final mark closer than the last*,
I have chosen the life of a poet*, as it has chosen me*, one word at a time, etched upon the foggy, misted surface of life’s mirror, without promise or guarantee that destiny will ever see or hear what this poet does so very,
very clear*......
