Listen to the ghostly, faint mist brushing it’s slow, cool drift through the surrounding stillness,
Feel the sacred drumming beat and glacial dripping movements in the gathering moistness of the song,
Hear the easy trickling flow bubbling from pebble to pebble,
Admire the running gravitational beauty and quite steady grace streaming within soft curving banks,
Accept the thundering power and rolling spirit of the divine cascade,
Taste the pounding surf the rising tide and swelling passion
of a sea before the calm,
Know the life of cloud and mist and rain, of river and waterfall, of lake, swamp, pond, delta and ocean,
Listen, for the singing*waters carry the songs and stories of your deeds far beyond the grandchildren of your grandchildren....
